The Bull User group for eXtreme computing is an independent world-wide group of users that will cooperate to increase the capabilities of large-scale, parallel scientific and technical computing supplied by Bull, to promote the exchange of information and understanding of these systems, and to provide guidance to Bull on the essential development and support issues for large-scale technical systems. Bull as an Affiliate is committed to support this user group.
BUX was founded on June 20th, 2011 at ISC’11 in Hamburg, as a result of discussions that took place in Paris first half of 2011 between users of Bull extreme computing solutions. The objectives of the BUX are:
- Sharing of experience between Members and with Bull
- Providing Bull with inputs and helping set priorities for Bull (technology, service and support …)
- Networking with Bull HPC experts during BUX events
- Highlighting emerging technologies and helping foster long-term developments
